The Kingston Organics: LIVE event is hosted by the City of Kingston and the Climate Smart Kingston Commission and is part of Hudson Valley Climate Solutions Week. Join the festivities for this FREE family-friendly event all about the Kingston Organics Pilot Project, and learn about composting in general! This one day only event will be held Tuesday September 19th from 5-7pm at Forsyth Park, in the parking lot below the tennis courts.

Stop by the UCRRA Outreach Booth to learn the facts about why so much food goes to waste, play our new Stock the Fridge game, and check out a vermicomposting demonstration, which will run every 30 minutes throughout the event (5pm, 5:30, 6pm, 6:30pm). Our Master Composter volunteers will be available to help you troubleshoot common backyard bin compost problems and get you the answers you need to make that Gardener’s Black Gold as quickly as possible!
