INSTRUCTIONS
Deer carcasses (such as those found on the side of the road) may be managed by contacting your local Highway Department or Department of Public Works, or by contacting a specialized company such as Pest Master.
UCRRA is authorized to accept deer carcasses (mortality, road kill, etc.) at its Organics Recovery Facility. These animal mortalities are managed in an environmentally responsible manner by industrial composting. This is done in a separate area from other composting operations and the resulting compost is NOT made available for sale. Please contact UCRRA with any questions.
