Flower Pots/Trays

Flower pots are not accepted in the recycling program at the UCRRA or at any of the participating Town Transfer Stations. Flower pots are widely considered to be NOT recyclable because they are contaminated with dirt, or because they are made from black plastic. Always check with your recycling service provider for instructions.

Flower pots may be donated for reuse. Contact your local nursery, Lowes or Home Depot during planting season for reuse.
