Heating Oil

Home heating oil is considered a hazardous waste and requires special disposal.

While home heating oil is accepted at UCRRA’s Household Hazardous Waste events, please note that restrictions apply. (NO DRUMS/TANKS OR CONTAINERS LARGER THAN 5 GALLONS ALLOWED. MAX LIMIT OF 25 GALLONS TOTAL) UCRRA’s collection events are open to Ulster County residents ONLY, and an appointment is required.

Vaz-Co Reclaiming Service (Highland, NY) may accept this item. Contact VAZCO directly at 845-691-6246. Some Town Transfer Stations may accept this item in small quantities.
