Insect Repellent

Insect repellent is considered a hazardous waste and requires special disposal.

This item  is accepted at UCRRA’s Household Hazardous Waste events. UCRRA’s collection events are open to Ulster County residents ONLY, and an appointment is required.

If the can is completely EMPTY, check with your recycling service provider for instructions, or check with a local scrap metal recycling facility.

Farmers with large quantities of pesticides should refer to the SWEEP NY program.
