Kerosene

Waste fuels are considered hazardous waste and require special disposal.

While kerosene is accepted at UCRRA’s Household Hazardous Waste events, restrictions apply. (NO DRUMS/TANKS OR CONTAINERS LARGER THAN 5 GALLONS ALLOWED. MAX LIMIT OF 25 GALLONS TOTAL. CONTAINERS WILL NOT BE RETURNED). UCRRA’s collection events are open to Ulster County residents ONLY, and an appointment is required.
