Nail Polish Remover

Do NOT discard this item in the trash. Do not recycle empty containers that held hazardous substances.

Nail polish remover contains acetone, a very caustic chemical that is considered hazardous waste.

This item would be accepted at Household Hazardous Waste collection events. UCRRA hosts hazardous waste collection events each year, which are open to Ulster County residents only, and an appointment is required.

For products still in usable condition, share with family, friends, or neighbors by posting the item for free on social media or through a materials exchange website (Craigslist, Freecycle, etc.)
