Paper Napkins

Napkins, Tissues, Paper Towels, etc. are NOT acceptable for the recycling bin and should NOT be recycled like other mixed paper products.

Instead of buying disposable paper products, choose to buy more reusable cloth napkins, reusable kitchen towels, or other reusable options.  Reusable items are better for the environment and your wallet!

Some paper products such as napkins, tissues, paper towels etc. may be successfully managed in backyard composting. Be sure to NOT include any paper towels that were used to clean chemicals of any kind.

If you utilize a food scrap drop off site, be sure to get clarification on what types of these products (if any) are acceptable.
