• all wires or cables associated with these devices.

Not Accepting:

• Batteries (except when part of a computer)

• Freon Appliances (Air Conditioners, Dehumidifiers, Refrigerators)
• Gas Powered Equipment
• Large/Small Kitchen Appliances (Stoves, Blenders, Fans, Coffee Makers, Toaster Ovens/Microwaves, Vacuums)
• Any Type of Lighting
• Lightbulbs
• Smoke/Carbon Detectors
• Medical Devices
• Typewriters
• Calculators
• Cash Registers

Instructions

• The accepted items listed above describe what is considered eligible devices under the NYS Electronics Recycling Act. Do not bring the unaccepted items listed above, which many not be a complete list. Contact the Recycling Hotline with any questions (845) 336-3336 if you have any questions about eligible items.
• If you have a large quantity of e-waste, please contact the UCRRA at (845) 336-0600; Mon – Fri 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM to schedule an appointment.
• Box-up small items for easy drop-off.
• Be careful not to break any glass during transport. Devices with shattered glass, disassembled components, etc. may not be accepted.
