INSTRUCTIONS

Freon appliances contain refrigerant chemicals such as chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs), and halons, which are harmful to the ozone layer and are very powerful GHG. Freon appliances require special disposal; view our Safe Disposal of Freon Appliances Guide.

UCRRA accepts Freon appliances. Our minimum load fee and a Freon Appliance charge will apply. Click here for UCRRA’s Fee Schedule.
