New Paltz Climate Smart Task Force Presents Earth Day 2026

 Saturday, April 25th
11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Reformed Church 92 Huguenot Street New Paltz

Join the fun with this FREE family-friendly event featuring children’s activities, healthy food, live music and a great way to learn about helping our planet. Get the facts on composting, home insulation, electric vehicles, community solar, transition to zero waste living, reducing plastic waste and more*!

The Recycling Outreach Team will be hosting “the Ulster County Tiffin Project” at our booth. Tiffins are are reusable stainless steel food containers that replace the wasteful, single-use packaging (like food take-out containers) when dining on-the-go. Luckily, “low-waste living” and the “Bring Your Own” movement has inspired many people to choose reuse when dining or shopping on-the-go. Fair-goers who stop by our booth can play a quick game to learn the facts and win a FREE tiffin while supplies last. To learn more about the Ulster County Tiffin project, visit our webpage linked here.

Details and schedule to be announced soon! Check out the facebook page for the most up to date info!

Sponsored by the New Paltz Interfaith Earth Action, Caring for Creation Committee, & New Paltz Climate Action Coalition.
