INSTRUCTIONS
Discard diapers in the trash. A recycling logo may indicate if diapers are made from recycled materials, however, they should NEVER be put in the recycling bin. Interestingly, used/dirty diapers are a very common contaminant at recycling centers across the country! Diapers are also NOT acceptable for composting, despite labels that may claim the diapers are made with biodegradable materials.
OTHER OPTIONS
If you have brand-new, unused, packaged diapers, they may be accepted by Family of Woodstock, People’s Place and other charitable organizations. Contact a local reuse organization
