Please note: All donations of used goods should be in like-new or gently used condition to the greatest extent. Accepted items are subject to approval by the various charitable organizations or programs listed on this page. Please contact these organizations directly with all inquiries or to verify the acceptance of items.

Lend-A-Wheel: A YMCA of Kingston and Ulster County program that accepts used bikes in good condition, refurbishes them, and then distributes them to community members in need of basic transportation. Accepting Mountain, Hybrid or Cruiser-style bikes with gears for adults or teens, preferably quality brands such as Trek, Cannondale, Specialized, Diamondback, Fuji, GT, Panasonic, Schwinn, Univega, Jamis. Also accepting gently used parts and accessories such as pedals, seats, locks, water bottle cages, car racks, etc. Please note that all prospective donors must send a photo of the bike to the Bicycle Program Director Justin Ledoux at jledoux@ymcaulster.org before donating.

Does NOT accept rusty bikes, helmets, bikes requiring a lot of repair and refurbishing.
