Donate, Buy, or Sell Used Furniture
Use this list to find a reuse organization near you! This list was updated March 2025. To request a correction, please contact Angelina Brandt, Director of Sustainability at APEO@UCRRA.ORG. Please note: All donations of used goods should be in like-new or gently used condition to the greatest extent. Accepted items are subject to approval by the various charitable organizations or programs listed on this page. Please contact these organizations directly with all inquiries or to verify the acceptance of items.
Reuse Centers & Thrift Stores
Accepted furniture items may include:
- Couches/chairs (must be free of any stains, tears, fading/discoloration, pet damage/stains/odors, signs of wear, smoke odors)
- Coffee tables/end tables (must be free of any signs of wear, smoke odors)
- Dining room sets (must be free of any signs of wear, smoke odors)
- Dressers (must be free of any signs of wear, smoke odors)
- Lighting/Lamps (in working order)
This is not a complete list of all acceptable items. Refer to Home Goods, Home Improvement, Tools, for more information about donations accepted by Habitat for Humanity or visit their website. Please note: DO NOT LEAVE ITEMS OUTSIDE OF THE STORE WHEN THE STORE IS CLOSED!
*If you have a large item that you cannot bring to the Restore, they may be able to pick up your items for free. To schedule pick-up of oversized items, call 845-340-0907, or email your full name, address, contact phone number, and photos of the items you wish to donate to: donations@ulsterhabitat.org

Bring donations directly to the Happy Paws shop, and not to the shelter in Kingston.
